Kinderdance Expands in Washington, Central Virginia and Alabama

Washington: Kinderdance awarded an Area Developer level franchise to Deborah Bains. Debbie will be teaching Kinderdance programs to children in the Seattle–Tacoma–Bellevue Metropolitan area located in the state of Washington. Debbie began dancing and gymnastics at a very young age. While in high school and college, she taught and coached gymnastics. She also performed as a member of her college dance company. Debbie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education with an emphasis in Recreation Therapy, a BS in Nursing, and also a MS in Education with an emphasis in Curriculum and Instruction. In addition to teaching gymnastics, Debbie worked as a substitute teacher for grades K-12, and taught all the Licensed Practical Nurses for the Army. Upon retiring from the military, Debbie found Kinderdance to be a perfect fit for her. Kinderdance combines her love for dance, gymnastics, fitness, academics, and working with young children into one great business! Central Virginia:  Kinderdance awarded a Silver level franchise to Laura Gallagher. Laura will be teaching Kinderdance programs to children in Lynchburg, Charlottesville and Richmond areas of Virginia.
Laura began dancing, ice skating, and drill team in elementary school. She earned a bachelor’s in Business Management from California State University – Fullerton. After working several years in the Staffing Industry, she had the opportunity to homeschool her children for 6 years. Through her involvement with homeschool co-ops, she learned how much she enjoys teaching children. After being back in the workplace for several years as a sales and project manager, she decided it was time to make another change. Laura’s passion for dance and desire to own a business with flexibility brought her to Kinderdance. Kinderdance was the perfect fit for her. Laura says “she immediately fell in love with the Kinderdance programs and concept”. Alabama: Kinderdance awarded a Bronze level franchise to Mary Avans. Mary will be teaching Kinderdance programs to children in central Alabama.Ms. Avans worked for twenty years in the automobile industry, teaching various classes on automobile manufacturing related subjects. Here is where Mary’s love for teaching began. However, deep inside her heart she always wanted to teach children. Her passion for dance and children found her way to Kinderdance®. The solid corporate support, increasing demand for quality dance and movement programs really stood out to me”.
